Terms and conditions
1. General
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to the Shimano “Win a pair of commuting cycling shoes” Promotion (the “Promotion”). By participating in the Promotion you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
1.2 The Promotion is organized by Shimano Nordic AB (“Shimano”), Edsbrogatan 1F, 752 28 Uppsala, Sweden.
1.3. These terms and conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden.
1.4. There is no entry fee required to enter the Promotion.
2. Participation
2.1. The promotion is open to persons aged 18 and over, residing in Sweden. Employees of Shimano and its affiliated companies and the immediate family members (spouse, children) and any person directly or indirectly involved in the development or administration of the Promotion, are not eligible to participate or win.
2.2. Participants have to follow @Vatternrundans and @Shimanlifestyle and tag a friend in the comments field before 16 March 2025 for the promotion.
2.3. The registration period is open between the 6th of March 2025, 12:00, to the 16th of March 2025, 23:59. Registrations received outside this time frame will be excluded from the Promotion. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
3. Promotion Rules
3.1. Participants needs to follow @Vatternrundans and @Shimanlifestyle and tag a friend in the comments field before 16 March 2025 for the promotion.
3.2. The random selection of the winner will take place on 17th of March 2025. The winner will be notified by direct message from Shimano in the following week.
3.3. If a winner does not confirm acceptance of the prize within 7 days after being contacted by Shimano, the winner is deemed to have rejected the prize and shall no longer be eligible to receive the prize. Shimano shall be entitled to select a new winner.
3.4. Shimano reserves the right to withhold one or more prizes if, in accordance with the conditions in paragraph 3, no winner can be appointed before the 17th of March.
4. Prizes
4.1. There will be one winner. The winner will receive a pair EX3 shoes from Shimano Nordic.
4.2. All prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
4.3. The prize winner shall be responsible for paying taxes, if any.
5. Data Protection
5.1. Any personal information that participants provide in connection with the Promotion shall be used by Shimano to administer this Competition, contact participants, and for the other purposes set forth in Shimano’s privacy policy located at http://www.shimano.com/en/privacypolicy.html . By entering this Promotion, you agree to and accept that privacy policy.
6. Disclaimer
6.1. Shimano does not accept any liability regarding any damages, of any kind, arising out or related to (participation in) the Promotion.
6.2. In case of any situation of force majeure Shimano reserves the right to withhold the prizes. Shimano is not obliged to hand out an alternative prize.
6.3. Unless the context otherwise demands, words importing any gender shall be interpreted to mean any or all genders.
6.4. Contact details submitted by the participants in order to register for the Promotion will only be used in relation to the Promotion.
