VÄTTERNRUNDAN 315 KM

Welcome to the 60th Vätternrundan 315 km, June 13-14, 2025

Vätternrundan takes place annually in the month of June. Participants from all over the world come to Motala to take part in this unique event which is a part of The Swedish Classic.

The first Vätternrundan took place in 1966 with just over 300 riders, and since then the ride has grown to be a must for cyclists worldwide. The pressure and demand to get an entry is always sky high and the ride is popular for many reasons.

Lake Vättern with its breath taking scenery is the treat the participants enjoy around the whole course. Although it is a recreational bike ride the challenge is great and you need to be well prepared. Accomplishing 315kms on a bike around the beautiful Lake Vättern with start and finish in Motala is something to be proud of. See you in Motala!

This is how it works, step by step

Create your profile/log in

If you have taken part before then you will already be registered. If you are new you’ll need to register via My Pages.

Step 1 – Preparatory registration

Between June 18th and October 21st, you can prepare your registration. Choose if you wish to create a new group, join a group or just register yourself.
When step 1 is completed, you will receive a registration code which is to be used in step 2.

Step 2 – Main registration

On October 23rd at 7 p.m. we will open the main registration – the second and final step into getting your start in Vätternrundan 315 km 2025. Be sure to have your registration code ready which you received when you completed step 1.

Payment

If you receive a place in Vätternrundan you will receive an email after registration day asking you to pay within 10 days to confirm your place.
