What’s the difference between registration of interest, registration, a granted entry and a confirmed and approved registration?

There are four steps to get a confirmed and approved registration to our events. First, you do a registration of interest that gives you (or the group) a registration code. (Read more below). On the day of the main registration you fill in the registration code and press send. Then, if you are fast enough, you will be granted a start spot in Vätternrundan 300 km but to get a confirmed and approved registration, the entry fee must be payed first. You will receive an e-mail with information about the payment, after which you will have five (5) days to pay to confirm the registration. If you don’t pay on time, your entry will go back to the waiting list.

For Tjejvättern 100 km, Vätternrundan 100 km and Halvvättern 150 km the registration of interest step is integrated with the registration, but you can prepare groups in this step.

When is the main registration day?

The registration of interest for Vätternrundan 300 km 2019 opens September 5 (and closes October 23). The main registration for Vätternrundan 300 km opens October 24 at 7.00 p.m. (Swedish time).

Note that because Halvvättern 150 km and Tjejvättern 100 km and Vätternrundan 100 km won’t be fully booked immediately, registration continues until the ride is sold out or the registration period has expired.

How does group registration work?

  • First and foremost, there is a difference between registering a group and a pre-booked group. A pre-booked group is intended for bigger start groups, e.g. cycling clubs and costs 1 800 SEK and can be booked from June 27, at 5 p.m. through My Pages and under the tab Group prebooking. Minimum participants in a pre-booked Group is 20 and maximum 40.
  • If you create a regular group you will get the same starting time as your friend(s) and the group leader will take care of registering the group. The group leader can pay only for him or herself, for others, or for the whole group. The maximum number of persons in a regular group is 40 and the minimum is 2.
  • As a group leader you either add friends or invite friends to join the group. If you choose to add friends directly you need their customer number and date of birth (YY-MM-DD). You can also give them the registration code so that they can join the group themselves via My Pages. The group leader can check at My Pages to see who has joined the group. For Tjejvättern 100 km, Vätternrundan 100 km and Halvvättern 150 km it is important to wait until all group members are named and listed before you click on “Confirm and Pay”. If this is done before all group members have joined the group it will be locked and no one else can join.
  • If anything should go wrong or need to be adjusted, the group leader can always go to My Pages and use the waste bin icon to delete the group. All participants will then be removed and the procedure can be repeated.
